Business regulation, operations and development; the main themes of PharmaProcess
The topics that are capturing the attention of the global pharmaceutical industry will form the axis around which the second edition of PharmaProcess will revolve, which is due to take place on 27 and 28 October in the Conference Centre of Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc Exhibition Centre. The event will include two plenary sessions and a number of conferences which, grouped under the headings of Regulation and Development, Operations and Business Development, will provide a broad overview of the current status of the global pharmaceutical industry.
This second edition of PharmaProcess once again brings together the leading experts in the industry, who will be revealing the latest technical advances in a fascinating conference programme. In this respect it is worth highlighting that the first plenary session will make an overview of what we can expect in the sector in the coming decades, while the second will analyse the state of new medicine.
In terms of Regulation and Development, under the heading of ‘Critical points for accessing the market’, discussions will include QbD strategies (Quality by Design) and the different US and EU versions of the framework regulations for the manufacture and sale of medicines, amongst other issues.
With regard to Operations, under the heading ‘Factories for the Future’, PharmaProcess will reveal the latest trends in designing manufacturing plants and the use of the internet and the Cloud for optimizing resources.
The Business Development section, entitled ‘Strengthening innovation as part of corporate culture’, will address issues such as Google’s interest in the pharmaceutical market and the merger and acquisition policies being followed by companies that are changing the business map of the sector both nationally and internationally.
The themed offering of PharmaProcess will be rounded off with Industry Sessions at which exhibitors can reveal their success stories.
At the moment, the PharmaProcess organizers are finalizing the panel of speakers with the support of the International Advisory Board and its Scientific Committee.
